WARNING!!WARNING!!..(the post under this is not meant to judge anyone at all but meant to encourage, if I judge anyone in this post it is myself.)

Please, if you are going to read the post "Man of Faith" do not be led to believe I am judging harshly in any way. I am simply ranting particular feelings. I believe the undertone of the post is to encourage myself and hopefully encourage the reader. I will however take your comments to the following. I encourage thought and debate :)

i thought it was a well crafted excellent post from your heart. i love the part about there are those out there who really lived the life and stood their ground for the sake of the real God... gosh! it is so easy for so many "christians" to sit back and criticize the "church" (of which the are a part, ironically) and speak about how th "church" has failed them, is irrelevant, isn't real, etc. i believe that those who engage in this behavior are those who haven't really experienced the truth about who jesus is... and the awesome faith walk. i say, as paul did, that i have not even come close to arriving... but the faith walk, although painful (though pale in comparison to those who have been beaten, persecuted and martyred for their faith) is so worthwhile! as you say... you know what is important when you are willing to die for it. anyway, very inspiring post my friend. very inspiring indeed.

Gee Eric, since I see I was the only one that posted on your man of faith, I'm feeling that maybe I was misunderstood in my comments. (or maybe not at all) but let me assure you darlin' I never thought for a moment that your post was about judging anyone other than yourself. I had this prayer for you that I lost in the first post, it is one I say everyday "God, I offer myself to Thee-to build with me and to do with ne as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do Thy will. Take away my difficulties, that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of life. May I do Thy will always."
Of course.. as your Mother I feel you beat yourself up to much. You are so wonderful, such a miracle. I read your words, I listen to your music. I get uplifted and get an attitude of gratitude. Thankful to have a child like you. A soon to be 30 year old child! How can my baby be almost 30? Yes... that is a miracle for sure!! Put your arms around yourself and give yourself a hug from me. MA
