Today

Today I went outside, looked in the sky, and saw this.

Eric--

I can't tell you how much I missed worshipping with you. There's not much to say other than that. You've helped me so much in the way that you are unafraid to live your life transparent (or was that transluscent?) before God. There is something raw and untamed about how you give your heart to God, knowing your weakness and admitting that before the Ancient of Days... it is beautiful, and has led me to a similiar path.

Not everyone is willing to investigate the depths of the blackness of their hearts -- but in this comes a greater knowledge of His redemtion and mercy for us. It is a rarely chosen path, carved out by forerunners like yourself, free spirits that are not hindered by the rules of those who've "played the game" before. Not to sound cliche, but to go where no one else has.

Familiarity breeds contempt, they say. I rather think it breeds complacency and lethargy for the already sleepy bride. You are adventurous, and have encouraged me, helped me see the path that God has chosen for me in the wilderness -- to not be afraid to go a different way, just because it's different.

Well, I guess there was much to say...

Thank you, Eric, for the things both seen and unseen. Lead on, brother. :)
